HIGHLIGHT OF THE DAY: David was able to stand up and give me a real hug today. That is the first time in 9 days. Wow! That felt GOOD!
For those of you in the area wanting to visit David, he is still in Memorial. He won't be moving to English Oaks today. I think I'll wait until I see it happen before I talk about a move again. His blood levels are still too low (with regard to the Coumadin), so they want to keep him in the hospital until that is where they want it to be.
Wow - I'm glowing! A hug from my hubby! Yea!!

Heidi, thanks for taking the time to keep this blog. David is really important to a lot of people, and it means a lot to be able to hop online and be kept up-to-date.
When I visited him last night, David looked great. He's a really good sport! I warned him, however, not to get too excited about discharge, because it can far longer than they tell you. That's normal for hospitals!
The prayers of many people are with all of you, some from people like me whom you have never met. Hang in there! You're both so blessed. It may not seem like it, but this could have been much worse.
Love, Amelia Brogdon
Hi Heidi -
Unfortunately, we've never met but my husband and I are friends of Tony & Stacey and we've been checking your blog constantly!
I travel often for business and know how good it feels to be hugged when I get home - what a great day for you!
Know that you are in our prayers - you for sleep, David for strength, and your family for peace throughout all the days ahead.
Karen Lepine
Dear Heidi.
I cannot say anything that has not been said by those nearer you both in space and relation. But be assured that from as far away as Norway you have thoughts flying towards you, your husband and boys.
