Okay, you've GOTTA explain that one. How on earth does it work?? I tried it four times and it worked, and then I just picked a symbol from the list (without picking a number or doing any math in my head) and clicked and it was wrong. Crazy!

Well, I hate to have to weird you out again, but it wasn't wrong.

Yes, I'm sure! :-)

If you remember the number you used, try it again very carefully, being very sure to look at the right symbol, and I guarantee - double money back guarantee!! - that it will be right!

I WILL explain it, but I'm going to wait a bit for others to try.

You know how it is with magic. Once you explain the trick . . .

I figured it out! I used several numbers right next to each other (such as 10, 11, 12, etc.) and then looked at the symbols. The sound effects are mysterious to me, though.

Wow - that's weird! This must really be magic. Mike and Amy, your comment wasn't there when I responded to Dan, and then it appeared - woooh-ooooh.

Um - let me do an example - so you can compare and see if you're doing the same thing. If so and they keep reading your mind wrong, let me know.

First, choose a 2 digit number. I'll choose 27 (my favorite).

Then add the two digits together:
2+7=9.

Now subtract that result from your original number:
27-9=18.

Now the symbol I will concentrate on is 18, and that should be the one that appears in the crystal ball.

Oh, I figured it out.

What goofed me when it was "wrong" was trying two different numbers at the same time, clicking "try again" and clicking the crystal ball without redoing the math and looking at the chart again. Does that make sense? The symbols move around when you try it again. Which is also why it seems more impressive--it throws you off the track! :)
