This weekend, Portuguese-Dutch me was taught by my Armenian friend how to make the Dutch treat stroopwafel. It occurred to me that rather than the International House of Pancakes (IHOP), we had the International House of Wafels (IHOW)!
She and I had actually been talking about doing this for years, and it finally came about, so it's even more of an event than the pictures alone indicate.
