AMEN!

Today was Christmas for me.

I already received my GIFT of having my husband home and getting better.

Today I had my CELEBRATION, singing in Handel's Messiah.

I can think of nothing better on this earth. It is the thing that above all makes me feel close to God, almost as if I am in Heaven. It is my favorite day of the year every year. Each year I savor every moment of it, the choruses, the solos, the instrumentals, saying to myself over and over, "I'm here! I'm here! It's happening right NOW!" And then, before I know it, we are singing the "Amen" chorus and it is over for another year.

I guess that too is part of the gift of time God has given us.

Some day perhaps I'll be in a timeless chorus!
