Announcement

I am happy to announce that

- pending chancellor and board of trustees approval -

I have been offered and have accepted a tenure-track position on the math faculty.

It is absolutely clear to me that this is God's leading in my life and where He wants me to be. Now I need another miracle. My schedule in the fall includes an 8am calculus class. Those of you who know me well know about my sleep disorder, but I fully trust that, "If He leads you to it, He will lead you through it."
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.
Proverbs 3:5-6

Wonderful news Heidi! Congratulations! I'm praying the 8 am class won't be an issue.

We've been gone to a math competition much of the day - and scrambling to catch up since getting home. I've been saving the lectures for now - and am ready to kick back and watch - aah
:-)

Wow! I'm impressed! Linear Algebra from MIT. Maybe if I can't make 8am I'll call you in for a sub!!

I said I "watched" the Linear Algebra lecture...I didn't say I understood a single think he spoke about....I was just taken with the sliding chalkboards. Simple fun for simple minds....

I love it!!

I'm still impressed anyway - not many people would watch linear algebra even for sliding chalk boards!

Hmm . . . but that does give me an idea - maybe if I install sliding chalk boards in my classroom . . .
