About the photo: its something else -- the kind of something else that photo journalist get fired for.
It is a lucky photograph of a meteor miliseconds before contact with earth.
It's proof that NASA is successfully testing anti-gravity technology.
Area 51 borders the ocean? Not that anything about that place should be a surprise!
