Change of Taste

When I was a child I used to think bottle brush bushes were very ugly. In my more mature years I have developed an appreciation of them. It is only recently that I paid enough attention to see how the parts unfurl from the little balls they are initially curled up into.

Oh, waw! Great photomontage!
We certainly don´t have that kind of flowers here in northern Norway! It´s not even warm enough for grass to grow yet (consistently over 8 c is needen), and I LOOOONG for spring and summer. Good thing it’s 24 h light now, it will be quick when it gets here!

Happy summer to you all! Enjoy it!

Wow! I can't imagine it not being warm enough yet for grass to grow! I can imagine you do long for spring and summer! I'll have to put Norway on my wish list of places to travel to, as it sounds so different from what I am used to.

We've had crazy weather the last couple weeks - unlike normal California weather. About 10 days ago we had a string of 100 F weather, then it cooled off slightly and we had winds of up to 45mph, and in the last few days it has gotten quite cool and rained! Weird!

I'd love the 24 hours of light - but not the 24 hours of darkness!

Happy summer to you as well!
